Radiator Skirting Vs UFH - Why the Dedicated Followers of Fashion Are Changing Their Route
Under floor heating has been the fashionable alternative to radiators for some time. Installed beneath the floor of a room, normally within a screed, under floor piping aims to warm the fabric of the home - thereby turning the room into a slowly-burning radiator, where the occupants remain warm because the floors and walls are themselves heated. Radiator skirting, on the other hand, is installed at just above floor level, in an aluminium strip that replaces the traditional skirting board.
