Motorcyclist killed in Highway 288 crash identified

One man has been charged and another is dead after a crash on Texas Highway 288 Sunday afternoon. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the victim in the fatal crash as Paul Estrada, Jr., who police previously said was a 42-year-old man. Police said Shawn Jarmail Brown, 36, veered from his lane at about 1 p.m., striking the motorcyclist on the shoulder. Estrada was declared dead at the scene and his name was released by medical examiners Monday afternoon after an autopsy.
