Troy DeRosa, who avoided mandatory life in prison five years ago when a Jefferson Parish jury acquitted him of three execution-style murders, has admitted breaking into a Metairie home, leading to a brawl with the homeowner and his elderly mother. The Times-Picayune reported (http://bit.ly/Sok1O5 ) the 31-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated burglary and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
